marvin achieved being a pianist at a young age. he was given an award at age 18. this excellence was achieved by his strict dedication to playing music. technology could have impacted his career by making music easier to write.
i think this was not excellence. he is a white privileged man that didn't face any discrimination, money problems, or real difficulty going into the world of entertainment or classical music. come back to me when a person of color with real struggles, achieves this.
